Servicing today's cars requires an understanding of the science & technology that goes into the modern, highly-sophisticated vehicles. It's very important to change the oil & filters regularly to reduce the wear & tear on the engine & other related componants & it may save you money in the long run, we have found from 1st hand experience with some manufacturers recomendations for servicing intervals that are way to far apart and can cause dramatic failure of componants which in turn can be very expensive. If you go back 20 or so years, oil changes were carried out every 6000miles now some are as long as 20,000miles which is causing problems with emissions related parts as the vehicles get older which is costing owners.
We only use (OE) original equipment parts & oil so you know that your vehicle is only getting the best it deserves. Due to the Block Exemption Regulation introduced in 2003 it means that you no longer have to use a main dealer to service your vehicle whilst within your warranty just as long (OE) parts are used, so you can rest assure that you're vehicle is in good hands with us.
MOT Testing
The MOT test (or simply MOT) is an annual test of vehicle safety, roadworthiness aspects and exhaust emissions required in Great Britain for most vehicles over three years old that is used on any way defined as a road in the Road Traffic Act 1988. The vehicle that is presented for test must meet the minnimum requirements set out by DVSA.
Servicing
We can carry out Major or interim servicing or if you just want an oil change we can do that to. We only use (OE) original equipment parts & oil to take care of your vehicle. We can reset all service lights with our diagnostic equipment & you will also get your booked stamped for proof of service. A courtesy car can be available if required.
Brakes & suspension
The Braking System is the most critical system on your vehicle. Its maintenance and proper functioning are vital to you, your family and other motorists. You should not attempt to effectuate maintenance or repair work on brakes. Servicing or repairing the braking system requires specific tools and expertise. The suspension is also important as defective componants can effect handling and braking distances so when having routine services brakes and suspension will have a thorough check and customers will be advised accordingly before any work will be carried out.
